God, hold my hand

The Psalm

God, hold my hand

Lead me into the great unknown
A future of change and fear and perhaps turmoil
Lead me down a path that serves those of importance
The family, the friends, the communities I love

God, be my guide

Keep me focused on the marvels of your creation
Help me serve and care for what you have made
Show me how to assist future generations to follow your steps

God, when I am to depart from earth
Let me be able to look back with comfort
That I did more good than evil and that I cared and loved

God, hold my hand

The Song

[antiphon] God, hold my hand

A future of change and fear and perhaps turmoil
Lead me down a path that serves those of importance
The family, the friends, the communities I love

[antiphon] God, be my guide

[chorus 1] Help me serve and care for what you have made

Let me be able to look back with comfort
