St. Stephen’s Psalter
The Psalter grew out of the annual St. Stephen’s, Orinda, men’s retreat. We spent time with a number of the psalms, and ultimately wrote our own. A number of the participants passed their psalms to me when I offered to set them to music. Peter Margen, a fellow composer and member of the retreat, collaborated with me on composing the musical settings. Clicking on the titles of the psalms below will take you to a page with the psalm itself as well as information about its musical version.
And, of course, if you’re in the area please join us on October 28 at 5 pm as we present these psalms, both spoken and sung, in concert.-Robert Train Adams
